About Us

The Cinema
The Picture House is located on Hall Street, Campbeltown, just along from the Tourist Information Office. The cinema has one screen and currently has a capacity of 264 with 179 seats downstairs and 85 on the balcony.

Films are shown at the Picture House every evening except Friday. Films usually commence at 8pm though young children`s U certificate films start at the earlier time of 7pm. Doors are open 30 minutes prior to show time. Please note that an adult must accompany children under nine years old.

First Monday presentations are shown on the first Monday of each month (except for the months of January and July through September). These films are of a more artistic nature and have proved to be popular with our cinema patrons.

There is a kiosk at the ticket office selling a wide range of food and drinks. Only food bought at the kiosk can be consumed in the cinema. Please do not bring alcohol or your own food into the theatre as it is against our policy.

Disabled access is currently through the side door of the cinema. Please contact a member of staff on your arrival and they will assist you.
